One image, every icon your app needs
App stores and operating systems each want their own stack of icon sizes — fifteen for iOS alone, eleven for Android, a dozen for the web. This generator renders them all from a single 1024×1024 image with high-quality downscaling, names the files the way Xcode, Android Studio and web manifests expect, and packs them into one zip. Because it runs entirely in your browser, your artwork is never uploaded.
How to use it
- Export your icon as a square PNG or SVG, ideally 1024×1024 with no rounded corners — the OS applies the mask.
- Drop it in, then tick the platforms you ship to. iOS and watchOS icons cannot be transparent, so a background fill is applied automatically.
- Choose a background from the presets or the Material palette, and add padding if your artwork touches the edges.
- Click download. The zip is organised by platform with the exact filenames each toolchain expects.
Which sizes are included
iOS/iPadOS: App Store 1024, iPhone and iPad @2x/@3x, Spotlight, Settings and Notification sizes. Android: Play Store 512, adaptive foreground layers (mdpi–xxxhdpi) and legacy launchers. macOS: 16 to 1024 at @1x and @2x. watchOS: App Store, Short Look, Home and Notification sizes. Web/PWA: 512 and 192 (standard and maskable), Apple Touch 180, MS Tile 144, Chrome 128/96 and favicons 48/32/16.
Tips for icons that look good at every size
- Design at 1024 px but check the 29 px preview — fine detail and thin type disappear at small sizes.
- Keep important artwork inside the dashed circle: maskable PWA icons and Android adaptive icons crop to that safe zone.
- Pick a background that passes contrast with your logo; test pairs in the Contrast Checker.
- Avoid pure white edge-to-edge: on iOS it blends into light wallpapers. A tint from your palette reads better.
